"When I was in grade school in North Carolina we were told of great Blacks who made great contributions to America, and I knew there were more. I was always reading articles on our history and was eager to learn more. To retrace this history and see places where it was made is going to be outstanding. This trip will help me in my community and informing people through the newspaper."
