Niagara River Bridge
Niagara Falls, New York

This bridge is the location of the "Suspension Bridge," a swaying, wood-slatted bridge that Harriett Tubman used to cross over into Canada. Even those of us afraid of heights took the chance on the 300-foot drop. The view, as well as the connection to those who were almost to Freedom Land, was powerfully worth it.
