Greenfield Village
Henry Ford Museum, Dearborn MI

Sidebar Navigation
Greenfield Village houses many historic buildings that automobile magnate Henry Ford recreated or had moved here from their original sites. We were able to see how slaves cared for their families, used their skills, preserved their African traditions, and resisted enslavement.

Another house we saw was the replica of African American scientist Dr. George Washington Carver's home.
