Wilberforce University Symposium

Workshop III: Rickerby Hinds, "Using Drama to Teach the Underground Railroad"
Rickerby Hinds, Playwright/Adj. Assistant Professor, University of Cincinnati, directed the group in a rousing exercise that demonstrated the connection between physical movement, communication, and memory.
Other exercises explored the Middle Passage (above), wordless communication (right), and a dramatic reenactment of a slave revolt (below).
