RIVERSIDE — Spring is here and Downtown Riverside will be hopping with fun Easter activities again this year. Riverside Downtown Partnership (RDP) will be hosting its 2nd Annual Easter Egg-stravaganza on Saturday, March 31st from Noon to 4 p.m. on Main Street in downtown Riverside. Downtown Riverside’s Easter Egg-stravaganza will feature three blocks of fun family festivities including Easter egg stations in each block. Some of these Easter eggs contain a special coupon redeemable for a yummy chocolate Easter bunny or egg at the RDP booth, which will be located on Main between Mission Inn Avenue and 6th Street. The day will also include arts and crafts at various participating merchants along Main Street and surrounding area, face painting, balloon artists, the popular water balloon game ‘Water Wars’, entertainment and photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny. Downtown Riverside’s Easter Egg-stravaganza event is free and open to the public. Children can also enjoy a special ‘peep show’ featuring bunnies and chicks strutting and competing for the best dressed ‘peep’. These delectable cute little marshmallow peeps are a favorite Easter treat for both kids and adults alike!
