The Moreno Valley Black Chamber of Commerce received not ice from California Black Chamber of Commerce of Sacramento on July 6, 2010 that this organization will receive the "Chamber Of The Year Award" again on August 21, 2010 at the "CBCC Ron Brown Memorial Awards Banquet" (formal attire) at the Marriott Hotel in Manhattan Beach, California.
The congratulation letter expressed to Linda D. Wright, the Chamber and her exemplify the true meaning of their theme: "Continued Service, Commitment and Excellence".
The President CEO/Founder, Linda D. Wright called the state office in Sacramento and respectful ly accepted the recognition from Aubry Stone, President/CEO, Commissioner of Economic Development and Board of Directors humbly with great respect of it significance. "To Much Is Given, Much Is Required.”
This would be the third time receiving this award. It was presented to the Chamber in August 2006 in San Diego accompanied by officers, board members and Mayor Bonnie Flickinger and Los Angeles, August 2008 accompanied by officers and board members.
The Chamber home is Moreno Valley, California and this award gives much attention to Moreno Valley by putting the city on the map with emphasis. The President/CEO, Officers and Board Member desires to have as many as possible to join them at the awards banquet in support while receiving the award. The entire event consist of scholarship golf classic, seminars/ workshops, business expo/pavilion, power breakfasts, recept ions, business luncheons and the Ron Brown Memorial Banquet August 19-21, 2010. The awards banquet is Saturday, August 21, 2010 with a concert with the "Zapp" Band following.
