Riverside Police are on a manuhunt for former Los Angeles Police Department officer Christopher Jordan Dorner, 33 who earlier this week shot and killed a basketball coach and her fiancé in Orange County and in Riverside County, Dorner fatally shot one Riverside Police officer and wounded another.

In an online manifesto, Dorner who is still at-large, threatened warfare against police. Police officials have said Dorner is armed and extremely dangerous and likely equipped with several weapons and assault rifles.

Assembly Member Jose Medina stated: “I was deeply saddened to learn that a Riverside Police Officer was fatally shot and another injured today. This is a terrible tragedy, and a reminder of the dangers our police officers face every day on the job in efforts to bravely protect our families, friends, and neighbors. Police officers in California and across the country work to improve the quality of life for all of us. For that, they deserve our sincere appreciation and respect. My thoughts and prayers are with their friends and family at this time. I will ask my colleagues to join me in adjourning in memory when the Assembly meets next week.”

In recent events the following comment is a farse! "Police officers in California and across the country work to improve the quality of life for all of us." Explain that to the families of the innocents shot by trigger happy police officers when they negligently shot a blue pickup truck, just because it happened to drive by a cops house that was listed on the manifesto. Two women delivering newspapers - it wasn't even a nissan Titan like the perp's, but a Toyota Tacoma! At the same time another pick up was shot at and the driver hurt. Don't they run plates any longer? The cops are out to kill this guy, and not arrest him - FBI needs to be called in and bring him in alive to testify. Sounds like a big frame job to me.
