California’s Top Cop, Attorney General Kamala Harris, joined law enforcement organizations, local business owners, and community leaders in San Bernardino to support Cheryl Brown last week. The Attorney General is not often in the Inland Empire, let alone to support a candidate, so last week’s activity was particularly unique.
The Attorney General saluted Brown’s substantive service to the Inland region and made clear that, as Attorney General, she needs allies in the Legislature to secure our neighborhoods and increase consumer protection.
Brown has a long history of fighting for public protection and safeguards for everyday citizens.
The Attorney General’s endorsement adds to a growing list of law enforcement professionals who say Cheryl Brown is the best choice of pubic safety in the race for the 47th Assembly District. Among other enthusiastic endorsers are the Police Officers Research Association of California, California Correctional Peace Officers Association, Safety Employee Benefits Association of San Bernardino, Association of Black Correctional Workers, Fontana Police Officers Association, and Riverside County Sheriff Stanley Sniff.
