Links Hosts 34th Annual Scholarship Breakfast Ball

Saturday, May 12, from 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m., The San Bernardino Valley Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, will host their 34th Annual Scholarship Breakfast Ball at the Doubletree Hotel located at 222 North Vineyard, Ontario, California. The chapter will proudly host Western Area Director Link Constance Fitzpatrick-Smith and Western Area Vice Director, Link Jacqueline Howard at the Breakfast Ball. The chairperson for the event is Link Lynne Kennedy, PH.D. and scholarship chairpersons are Link Mariyon Thompson and Link Josetti Fields.

The San Bernardino Valley Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, have served the San Bernardino and Riverside County communities by offering resources to empower adults and children, providing tutoring and mentoring programs for our youth, encouraging civic involvement, promoting cultural enrichment and offering free health and wellness workshops to the public. The chapter has awarded over $300,000 in scholarships since their establishment in 1979. The San Bernardino Valley Chapter recognizes the importance of preparing today's youth for the challenges of an increasingly competitive, global society.

Mr. Robert (Bobby) Grace, Esq., prosecutor for the County of Los Angeles, will serve as the scholarship Masters of Ceremonies for the morning. After scholarships are presented, the guests are invited to dance to the music of The Derrick Edmondson Band. Tickets are $45 per person and the event is semi formal.
