Dreamscape Hits Stage Feb. 4th

Black Voice News and UC Riverside's (UCR) Afrikan Student Programs present: Dreamscape, a production by UCR professor and playwright Rickerby Hinds on Saturday, February 4th at 8:00pm at the University Theater on UCR campus.
Through poetry, dance and beatboxing, Dreamscape commemorates the life of 19-year-old Tyisha Miller who was brutally shot and killed by four Riverside police officers in 1998. The play discusses the relationship between the African American community and the law (police) and how the loss of one life affects the community at-large.
