Toy Drive Planned in Riverside for Local Youth

On behalf of CEO/Founder Ron Gardner of Kids in Konflict, Grams Bar B Que Restaurant and the Liberty Riders President Chase from the Moreno Valley Chapter would like to extend an invitation for the community to attend their Annual Toy Drive on Friday, December 9, 2011 from 5:00 PM – 9:30 PM at Grams Bar B Que Restaurant located at 3527 Main Street, in Riverside. This is their 3rd year in providing food and toys for those less fortunate in the community.

This endeavor was inspired by Ms. Lenora Taylor and Robert Bratton. Ms. Taylor is an active member of the community, diligently creating and implementing community based programs to help atrisk youth, as well as the community in general. Mr. Bratton is the owner of Grams Mission BarBQue and has been an instrumental and vital asset to the community for the past 24 years.

Kids in Konflict is a 6-12 week Gang Awareness/ Cultural Diversity Program working with at-risk youth on the dangers and alternatives to gangs. Their goal is to inspire them to make meaningful positive changes in their lives.

Liberty Riders are local motorcycle riders who assist annually with toys and food for deprived families in the community. They along with Kids in Konflict and Grams Restaurant will assist in this endeavor for 2011. Toys will be distributed on Friday, December 23, 2011, for children ages 0-18.
