BV Foundation Receives $5,000 Grant for National Case Study
State Farm Insurance has partnered with the Black Voice Foundation and The Opportunity of a Lifetime 2011 national case study competition with a $5,000 grant to support diverse college students. “With a commitment of developing our next generation of leaders, State Farm's support will assist the students build the career confidence to compete in these hard economic times,” states Cheryl Brown, Co-Founder and Emeritus Board Member. She continues: "We are honored to partner with State Farm to assist in the development of students that attend minority serving institutions. This partnership will continue building career opportunities for young people in the Inland Empire."

This program is dedicated to working with students that attend minority-serving institutions locally and nationally, reaching out to campuses to assist students’ reach their career goals in these hard economic times.
Winners will be announced in late fall and the top 2 teams will be flown “all expenses paid” to Southern California to present their findings at the 7th Annual Black Voice Foundation annual gala, December 1 - 4. Finals will take place at California State University, San Bernardino.
