ROC Hosts Spirit of Greatness Award, Honors Late Founder
On September 9, 2010, the Riverside Opportunity Center (ROC) will host the 2010 Spirit of Greatness Award Banquet at the Raincross Square Convention Center, 3443 Orange Street, Riverside beginning at 6:00 p.m.
This year’s honorees include:
Golden Eagle Community Service Award: Mr. Ameal Moore; Golden Eagle Law Enforcement Award: Officer Felix Medina; Golden Legal Eagle Award: Judge Victor Miceli; Golden Eagle Firefighter of the Year Award: Division Chief John Martinez; Golden Eagle Physician of the Year Award: Dr. Tom Haider (Haider Spine Center); Hardy Brown Golden Eagle Journalism Award:
Mr. Ron Redfern (Press Enterprise Publisher); Bobby Bonds Golden Eagle Sports Award: Mr. Kermit Alexander; Golden Eagle Educator of the Year: Miss. Amber Carrow; Golden Eagle Religious Leader Award: Pastor Mustafa Kuko & Pastor Mike Barnes (Grove Community Church); and Spirit of Greatness Award: Bishop Dr. Jerry Louder.
