Masons Converge on Downtown Riverside
The Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge Free and Accepted Masons celebrated their 155 Communication Annual Banquet at the Riverside Convention Center July 16-21.
The theme was Strength in Unity.
Hundreds attended from all over the state to hear the Honorable Tommy E. Phillips, Most Worshipful Grand Master.
Freemasonry is a fraternal organisation that arose from obscure origins in the late 16th to early 17th century.
Freemasonry now exists in various forms all over the world, with a membership estimated at around six million.
The fraternity is administratively organized into independent Grand Lodges or sometimes Orients.
