UGRR Historian, Jerry Gore to be Featured on Feburary 17

The public is invited to a free Black History program featuring Underground Railroad historian Jerry Gore, a direct descendent from Addison White, a freedom seeker who was caught and put on trial during the 1800’s because he dared to think about and act upon his freedom. The event will be in a story telling fashion complete with singing and audience participation.

This is a perfect event for children, teenagers and adults.

Gore will be doing an in- service for teachers in the Inland Empire, sponsored by San Bernardino County Schools.

The community event will be held on February 17, at 5:00 p.m. at the Boys and Girls Club, on 1150 9th Street in San Bernardino and is co sponsored by Black Voice News, Black Voice Foundation, Inc. BLU Educational Services, San Bernardino and Riverside branches of the NAACP.
