STOP THE WAR!—Congresswoman Maxine Waters was a featured speaker Saturday, March 29, as the African American Community gathered in Leimert Park to protest the Bush Administration’s policies that led to war in Iraq.

Waters joined Dr. Maulana Karenga of Organization Us, Assemblyman Mervyn Dymally and several other political, religious and community leaders in urging President Bush to “Stop the War Now!”

Saturday’s anti-war rally, which attracted about 500 protesters, was sponsored by the International Black Coalition for Peace and Justice.
