Rev. L.E. Campbell, Pastor, and the Park Avenue Missionary Baptist Church of Riverside invites Inland Empire residents to attend and support its 2nd Annual L.B. Moss Scholarship Fundraiser on Saturday, March 29, 2003, between 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

The L.B. Moss Scholarship fund provides financial support to qualifying candidates who are pursuing a higher education.

There will be an art exhibition sponsored by B Graphics and Fine Arts, Inc., and Studio B Art Gallery.

The exhibit will feature the creative imagery of internationally acclaimed artist Charles Bibbs, and other exciting images by renowned artists Larry “Poncho” Brown, Albert Fennell, Varnette Honeywood, Synthia Saint James, and Annie Lee.

Scheduled activities for the event will include a silent art auction, door prize drawings, and refreshments.

The silent auction will be conducted at 11-3 p.m and 3:15 – 6 p.m.

At 12:30 p.m artist Charles Bibbs will give a special presentation on the creative aspects of his work, and on the importance of collecting art and supporting ethnic artists.

Bibbs will also be available to sign and personalize specific images purchased at the event. Through the fundraising activities, the organizers hope to surpass the contribution made at last year’s event.
