The Provisional Accelerated Learning (PAL) Center, a charter high school and education center based in Muscoy, announced that the Fourth Annual Job Fair will be held at the PAL Center Campus at 2450 West Blake Street San Bernardino, CA 92407 on December 5, 2002.

Dubbed last year by Ed Mauel, columnist from the San Bernardino Sun, as the “Job Fair and Then Some” , the Job Fair has turned into a true community event.
This year’s event is co-sponsored by Angelica’s Textile Service Products and includes representatives from Coca-Cola, San Bernardino County Office of Personnel, OmniTrans, the CHP, over five local unions, the L.A.P.D, Sam’s Club, and Carl Karcher Enterprises. In all, over 30 companies will be present at the Job Fair. Interviews will be conducted on-site, so applicants should bring their resumes and be ready to meet potential employers.
As in previous years, the Al-Shifa Medical Clinic will be hosting a well-baby clinic, medical screening, flu shots, and other services at the PAL Center. Admission for the entire day is free.
The PAL Center was founded in 1984 by Dr. Mildred Henry, a professor emeritus from California State University at San Bernardino. Current PAL Center programs include a charter high school featuring smaller classrooms and increased flexibility, Upward Bound, two homeless shelters, a child care center and two Workforce Investment Act programs: youth and adult.
