Downtown Riverside’s Main Street Mall transforms into Transylvania when little ghosts and goblins of all ages enjoy Harvest Festival 2002.

The City of Riverside Parks and Recreation Department have partnered with Riverside Downtown Partnership to host this festive event. Guys and ghouls get those costumes ready for the costume contest and parade. Kids can fill their bags with all kinds of safe and delectable goodies at the candy walk from merchants along Main Street Mall. Harvest Festival 2002 brings thousands of visitors downtown and is sure to be a day of fun-filled events that the whole family will enjoy. The best decorated pumpkin entries will be awarded at the free pumpkin carving contest. A cheerleading contest, battle of the teen bands, craft vendors and fun game booths will be some of the many festivities on site at Harvest Festival 2002.
Tasty treats will be available from food vendors and live musical entertainment can be heard at Harvest Festival 2002. All activities are open to the public. California Riverside Ballet will put on their annual performance entitled, “The Ghost Walk” on Friday, October 25th and Saturday, October 26th from 6 to 10 p.m. for $6 per person. This howlingly spectacular event takes place October 26th Noon to 5 p.m. on the Main Street Mall from 9th (at City Hall) to 5th Street.
