The sessions are designed to increase the success rate of ESL students and to enhance skills for better employment opportunities.
The three-hour sessions are scheduled for Friday, January 10, from 6 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday, January 11, from 9 a.m. to noon in Room 109 of the SBVC Business Building. Free parking is available in Student Lot #7 off of Grant Avenue and Fairview Road.
The orientations will allow students to meet the SBVC ESL faculty, to learn about the ESL classes offered by the college, and to explore financial aid opportunities for qualified students. The sessions will also provide information on other student services available at SBVC.
