The symposium is designed to enhance the awareness and prevention of breast cancer. Health experts from the American Cancer Society, Hispanic Nurses Association, Black Nurses Association and Arrowhead Regional Medical Center will address participants in such areas as prevention, treatment and support. The impact of breast cancer on Hispanic and African American women will also be a focus of the panel discussion. The symposium will conclude with a tribute to breast cancer survivors. Informational booths will offer free information and services including mammography.The symposium is free and open to the public.
