Assemblymember Longville and Arrowhead RMC Present Breast Cancer Awareness Symposium

Assemblymember John Longville and Arrowhead Regional Medical Center will present a Breast Cancer Awareness Symposium on Saturday, October 26, 2002 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Oak Room at the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center located at 400 North Pepper Avenue in Colton.

The symposium is designed to enhance the awareness and prevention of breast cancer. Health experts from the American Cancer Society, Hispanic Nurses Association, Black Nurses Association and Arrowhead Regional Medical Center will address participants in such areas as prevention, treatment and support. The impact of breast cancer on Hispanic and African American women will also be a focus of the panel discussion. The symposium will conclude with a tribute to breast cancer survivors. Informational booths will offer free information and services including mammography.
