This article "WhatChaNeed - To Know" will take you thru the Coachella Valley that includes the cities of Palm Springs, Cathedral City, Rancho Mirage, Palm Desert, Indian Wells, La Quinta, Indio, Desert Hot Springs and Coachella.

My company, "WhatChaNeed.Net" (If I can't Get It! You Don't Need It!) is a concierge service here in Palm Springs. My community service includes President/CEO and Co-founder of the African American Chamber of Commerce Palm Springs, board member of the Coachella Valley Film Alliance, board member of the ACLU of the Desert, Commissioner with the Palm Springs Human Rights Commission and Event Chair for the American Cancer Society "Relay For Life" Palm Springs 2006-07. I am also a Certified Mediator. Whew!!!

This week I have selected two businesses to highlight as my spotlight for this week. First off we have "Crowning Glory" Hair & Beauty Supply located at their new location in the Target Shopping Center, 67750 in Cathedral City. Visit Rhonda and her staff and let them know that I sent you. There you will find some hard to find items designed especially for you.

Feel free to call Rhonda at 760-770-5200.

Hair Unlimited is our local Barber Shop located at 68780 First Street in Cathedral City. There you can sit and get up to speed on some of the happenings in the desert. All sports fans are invited to "Chew the Fat" with Kelton "Cup" Johnson, Eric "Lower Case e" Johnson or Micah "Mike" Rougely. Give them a call at 760-321-8220. Tell them that I sent you and who knows what will happen.

I know you remember KC & the Sunshine Band. Well, they will be appearing at the Spa Casino in Palm Springs in the Cascade Lounge on Friday November 3rd 8pm. Come on out and dance to some of the sounds from "Back in the Day." For ticket info call the Spa Casino at 760-883-1000. At the Agua Caliente Casino there will be a group named "Mocca" making its Desert debut in the Canyon Lounge. Shows will start at 8pm on Thursday and 8:30pm Friday & Saturday. For more info call 760-883-1000.
