Charles Bibbs, Larry Poncho Brown and Synthia Saint James, three of the most prolific artists in the contemporary African American art realm, have come together for a "CREATIVE QUARANTINE" in which they have isolated themselves in a private location to gain creative insight, and to build a collaborative environment to create and inspire each other, resulting in some of the most beautiful works of art never seen by the public.

The Creative Quarantine was conceptualized by Bibbs and Poncho about 3 years ago.  The idea has finally came to life in 2006 which began January 9th and will run until the first week of February.

All three artists are known for their works on paper and canvas, but now collectors will be able to see their favorite artists in a new way with 3 dimensional works on plates, mirrors, vases, wood and other interesting objects.

Following the Quarantine period, there will be two art receptions, in which these unique creations will be on display. The first reception-exhibit will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2006 at the Art Wing Gallery, 23580 Sunnymead Blvd, Moreno Valley, CA 4PM - 7PM, and the second reception will be held, February 4, 2006, at the 626 Art Gallery, 626 S. Spring St., Los Angeles, 7PM - 10PM.  Admission is free.
