For the second year in a row, Crafton Hills College (CHC) Cisco Academy students worked as volunteer workers at the national Tech Ed Conference held in the Ontario Convention Center.
President George W. Bush, Jr. recently addressed more than 1,500 people at the White House Conference on faith-based and community initiatives at the Los Angeles Convention Center in California. Attendees of this 3-day conference included faith-based and community organizations, community leaders, elected officials and representatives from all over the Western United States, that provide services to their communities.
Mother Marlean Torres has had an eventful life and recently celebrated her 70th birthday with a celebration with family, friends and her prayer partners. Artis Gilbert of Assemblyman John Longvilles office even gave her a special award.
Riverside County Sheriff Bob Doyle will be the co-host of a new radio program on KTIE, 590 on the AM dial. KTIE donated the 30-minute show to the Riverside County Sheriffs Department as a public service to the Inland Empire listening audience. The radio program Inland Empire Crime Fighters will air every Saturday evening from 6:00 to 6:30 p.m.
Riverside County Sheriff Bob Doyle recognized 64 members of the Riverside County Sheriffs Department last week at the departments Annual Awards Dinner. Doyle said, I consider it an honor and privilege to work with these heroes each and every day.
