The UCLA Bruins put out their biggest offensive explosion of the year as they put together 528 yards total offense. Quarterback Drew Olson went 18 for 25 passing for 296 yards. Running back Maurice Drew had 95 yards o­n 11 carries.

"This performance o­n offense was great to see," said Head coach Karl Dorrell. "We made some good plays and we have some great receivers." Drew also had a 66 yard punt return for a TD. Junior Taylor had 5 receptions for 93 yards and two touchdowns. The Bruins blasted Rice 63-21 in front of 44,808.

Next up: UCLA faces Oklahoma 12:30 pm ABC at the Rose Bowl and USC will take o­n Arkansas with a 7:15 pm kickoff at the Coliseum.

PAC-10 Roundup

PAC-10 went 6-1 in week two of the college football season. o­ne of the biggest non-conference match ups Arizona State fell to Louisiana State 35-31 as the Tigers scored 28 points in the third quarter. The game was originally scheduled in Baton Rouge but due to hurricane Katrina the game was transferred to Tempe. Arizona State quarterback Sam Keller threw for 461 yards and 4 touchdowns. He fell short as his counterpart JaMarcus Russell went 16 of 32 for 239 yards.

Oregon defeated Montana 47-14 as Demetrius Williams had five catches for 93 yards and a touchdown. Oregon State defeated Boise State 30-27. Washington State defeated Nevada 55-21 as Culver City's Michael Bumpus had an 87 yard punt return and former Pasadena City College standout Jerome Harrison rushed for 123 yards. Stanford defeated Navy 41-38 as Fremont's Mark Bradford had two receptions for 29 yards.
