Riverside native Sam Brandon is a graduate of J.W. North High School. Brandon, Chris Clabourne and the rest of the 1995-96 North squad are credited with “getting it started” after winning the 1995 CIF Title.


Sam starred at UNLV in the Mountain West Conference receiving all-conference honors.

The Broncos drafted Sam in the fourth round of the 2002 draft. Sam is currently an integral part of a revamped Denver defense that is currently ranked number 1 in the league.

Sam still calls Riverside home.
