SAN BERNARDINO -- One of the many success stories of San Andreas High School is their 2004 Boys Basketball team.

Senior Donald Hendricks has averaged over 20 points a game for the Lions as the team has suffered only one loss this season.

The team has averaged over 70 points per game. In the final game against Fontana, a total team effort and a game winning shot by LoJuan DunLessis was the difference in the victory beating them 73-72.

San Andreas High School Principal Myrtle Foster states: “A team that plays well together, wins together.”

Coach Bill Mierzwik enjoyed a great deal of returning talent from last season. “Our boys expected to be very good this year and we were. One major area of improvement would be our zone defense. We can work on that,” he said.

It was a successful season and with a great deal of returning talent, the Lions should be a force next year.
