Phenomenal two way player Alan Bradford showed o­nce again why USC’s Pete Carroll is so high o­n this high school senior.  It has been reported that Coach Carroll sees Bradford’s talent best employed o­n the Trojans defense to utilize his speed and bone crunching power.  o­n Friday night, Los Alamitos watched Bradford the running back gain 240 yards and score six touchdowns as the Yellowjackets defeated them 57-6.

On a day dedicated to honoring o­ne of the greatest Charger receivers of all time, the Bolts decided to show off a pretty good group of receivers from this era.  Drew Brees’ near perfect passing performance made sure everyone of them caught a ball.

When the NFL concludes its season in February the AFL (Arena Football League) will be able to give the football junkies their fix each week. The league is headed by David Baker, the commissioner among commissioners. Baker, who recently spoke at the Pasadena Quarterbacks Club luncheon, is a man big in stature at 6’9” 410 pounds and is a figure that gets noticed when he walks into a room. He is a sound business man with a great sense of humor.

The Colton Yellowjackets came to Redlands as the number o­ne team in the CIF.  By the numbers, the epic contest was seen by 8,000 fans, 81 points were scored, as Redlands East Valley outlasted Colton by o­ne point, in the last second of play, 41-40.
