Plans for the Fourth Annual Faith Based Small Business Summit are in full swing for Thursday, October 13, 2011 at the Ontario Convention Center in Ontario, CA. AmPac Tri State CDC is teaming up with the U.S. Small Business Administration - Santa Ana office, the Inland Empire Women's Business Center and the Inland Empire Small Business Development Center to host the information packed conference; which is also sponsored by the City of Ontario, California Bank and Trust and City National Bank. Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. and the program will end at 2:30 p.m.
The theme of this year's conference is "Equipping Businesses to Grow Their Sales Both at Home and Abroad." We are seeking to expose business owners to opportunities to grow their business through winning public and private sector contracts, as well as international trade.
The conference will also target faith based leaders by training faith based non-profits on the nuts and bolts of the SBA micro loan program.
The goal of this effort is to engage faith based organizations in providing access to capital to entrepreneurs.
Additional workshops will be conducted for businesses on accessing capital, as well as providing tools for growing and expanding a business. The entire program will be value-added for all who attend.
As the grand finale for the program, we will recognize business owners and non-profit organizations with the Connecting Faith & Business Awards. For more information, contact www.iewbc.org or call (909) 915-1706.
