Concert at Ecclesia

On Saturday, June 28, 2003, Ecclesia Christian Fellowship will be hosting the Wonderful World of Love Concert featuring the music of maestro Minister Cliff Duncan, the soulful, sultry voice of Ta-ree and the dynamic rap duo Q-Storm. Also performing will be Remidi of ILLA-NOISE entertainment and Praze of Loveland Church. The concert starts at 7:00 p.m. and admission is free. It’s more than music ... it’s life.

Grace Bethel Celebrates 27th Year

Sunday July 13th and Sunday July 20th at 4p.m., Grace Bethel Missionary Baptist Church will be celebrating their 27th Church Anniversary. The theme chosen is “Trusting in the Lord,” taken from Proverbs 3:7. The guest speaker for July 13th will be Rev. Seth Williams, Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church of Riverside and July 20th Rev. Theodore Leonard, Sr., of First United Community Baptist Church in Ontario.

Third Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction

The Third Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of the Church of God in Christ invites the public to their Annual Holy Convocation 2003. The festivities will feature dynamic teaching, preaching and the most soul-stirring gospel music in Southern California.

The Convocation began June 23rd and will continue until June 27th at Temple Missionary Baptist Church located at 1583 West Union Street in San Bernardino. Services begin promptly at 7:00 p.m. each night.

8th Annual YLB Honorees Poised for 2003

Each year the Islamic Development Center - Moreno Valley hosts its Youth Leadership Banquet.

At the banquet some of the area’s outstanding Spring graduates are awarded for their achievements in the areas of academics, athletics, community service, and leadership.

This year’s leadership honoree is Ibrahim Mubashshir of Riverside’s Poly High School. The community service award will go to Nycole Benoit of Fontana’s Etiwanda High. Shabnam Saiyed of Rialto High School in Rialto and Emily Hervey of Maranatha High School in Pasadena are both academic honorees.

The Dell Roberts Leadership Excellence Award will also be presented to Malik Saleem, founder and CEO of the National Coalition of Professionals Against Crime, Inc.

We encourage the public to join us along with Assemblyman John Longville of the 62nd District, San Bernardino, the banquet’s keynote speaker and honored guest and Imam Earl Abdulmalik Mohammed, special representative of Imam W. Deen Mohammed, leader of the American Society of Muslims (ASM).

The event will take place on Saturday, June 28, 2003 at the Riverside Convention Center, Raincross Ballroom. Doors open at 6:00 p.m.

Tickets are $65.00 for adults and $35.00 for children twelve and under. Proceeds from your tax deductible contributions go toward YLB scholarships.
