God Wants You to Have Intimacy in Your Own Marriage

Are you tired of trying to attain something that is seemingly unattainable in your marriage? Are you tired of sharing your intimate feelings with friends instead of your spouse? Well, I’ve got good news for you! “God wants you to have intimacy in your own marriage!” On February 8, 2003 come and join our Marriage Enrichment Conference at the Perris Senior Citizen Center in Perris, CA.

The Miracle Deliverance Pentecostal Holiness Church will host its Seventh Annual Voice of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. featuring Rev. Dennis Morgan Brown, in the incarnated embodiment of Dr. King’s voice on Sunday, January 12, 2003, beginning at 3:30 p.m.
Special guest soloist The Reverend Leroi Lacey -- singing “Precious Lord Take My Hand,” and Evangelist Muriel Jennings.

The Miracle Deliverance Church Choir, Rabbi Hilel Cohn, Community Civic Leaders and local politicians will be in attendance.

Southern Christian Leadership Conference/ Los Angeles Announces Annual King Week Festivities

The Southern Christian Leadership Conference of Greater Los Angeles (SCLC/LA) will host it’s 26th annual Martin Luther King Week Festival January 10th through January 20th, Rev. Norman S. Johnson, Executive Director of SCLC/LA announced today.

This year’s theme is “Creating A Culture of Non-Violence.”

“We are honored to pay tribute to a leader in the struggle for non-violence and equal rights, while at the same time, honor individuals and organizations whose work exemplifies the SCLC mission,” said Rev. Johnson. “Dr. King’s challenge to this nation is as relevant now as it was 34 years ago. We must continue to advocate for human rights and draw upon Dr. King’s principles in order to remedy society’s ills.”

Activities, all open to the public, include: Friday, January 10th – Kick-Off Ceremony and Press Conference beginning at 10 a.m., Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza, L.A.; Sunday, January 12th – Art and Essay Contest Awards Ceremony beginning at 1 p.m., Department of Water and Power, 111 N. Hope Street, L.A.; and other activities.
