The “Bobby Jones Gospel Countdown,” produced by American Urban Radio Networks’ STRZ Entertainment Network, can now be heard on KJLH-FM in Los Angeles, the second largest radio market in the country.

KJLH’s decision is a trailblazing achievement, as the “Bobby Jones Gospel Countdown” becomes the only national gospel music program in the market. It airs on KJLH on Sundays from 10 p.m. until midnight.
Adds host Dr. Bobby Jones, “I think it’s exciting to be able to take gospel music into Los Angeles on a station such as KJLH. L.A. needs this type of programming and Stevie Wonder’s station had the vision to make the move and it’s wonderful. I feel great about it and I’m excited!”
The two-hour weekend program, presented in an exciting and informative format, showcases America’s most beloved Gospel performers. Hosted by the incomparable Dr. Bobby Jones, this mass appeal show is all-digitally produced and highlights the fully-researched top 20 Gospel songs of the week.
As one of Gospel music’s guiding forces, Jones has dominated Sunday morning programming as the host and executive producer of “Bobby Jones Gospel” on BET since 1980. He has been honored with countless awards, including the Grammy, Gospel Music Association Dove, NAACP Image Award and many more.
