Park Avenue Baptist Presents Annual L.B. Moss Scholarship Art Exhibit

Reverend L.E. Campbell and the Park Avenue Baptist Church LB Moss Scholarship Committee, invites you to its annual L.B. Moss Scholarship Art Exhibit and Sale fundraiser, on Saturday, April 24, 2010, 10am – 5pm. at Park Avenue Baptist Church (Dining Hall), 1910 Martin Luther King Blvd, Riverside, California.

The mission of The L.B. Moss Scholarship Committee is to raise funds for scholarships to award to well-deserving students, who plan to further their education. The annual art exhibit and sale is one of the many fundraising efforts of the LB Moss Scholarship Committee.

Renowned artist and host Charles Bibbs will sponsor the art exhibit and sale. His works and the works of other renowned artists, such as, Synthia Saint James, Larry Poncho Brown and Varnette Honeywood, will be for sale. Maurice Howard, one of Riverside’s most popular artists, will also have his works on display.

During this fun-fundraising event, there will be a wide range of affordable art prints to buy, some as low as $10. In addition, Bibbs will conduct several raffle drawings throughout the day. The Grand raffle prize will be a beautiful framed limited edition print by Charles Bibbs, titled: “Seat Of Knowledge.” To further enhance the event, Bibbs will give a Don’t miss Charles Bibbs exceptional Art presentation that will begin at 1:30 pm.

Profits from the art sale, and raffles will benefit the L.B. Moss Scholarship Fund. Elaine Bibbs at B Graphics states, “Our goal is to raise more funds this year, to support more students. We’re asking everyone to come out and support us in this worthy cause.”
