Pastor EV Hill Dies at Cedars-Sinai

Pastor EV Hill died at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Monday, February 24 at approximately 11pm. He pastored Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Los Angeles for 42 years.

This church was the second oldest Black church in the City of Los Angeles. Pastor Hill was well known in the religious community and had a tremendous ministry. He often appeared on Trinity Broadcast Network and ministered to the masses.

His son, Edward Victor Hill II has followed in his father's footsteps as the pastor of Calvary Temple Pentecostal Church in North Hollywood, California.

Pastor Hill is survived by his wife Ladean Hill, his sons Lawrence Donald, and EV Hill II and daughters Norva Kennard and Ileysha Garrett. His church is in the midst of celebrating his 42nd pastoral anniversary and that celebration will continue.
