The Riverside County Fair & National Date Festival held its 57th Annual Queen Scheherazade Pageant, at the Fairgrounds in Indio.

Crowned, Queen Scheherazade is Kymberle Creso, 17, of Palm Desert. Kymberle has won numerous awards, including the Soroptimist Young Woman Award. Some of her hobbies include modeling, community service and Youth Court. Carina Rojo, 17, of Indio, was crowned Princess Dunyazade. Carina enjoys volunteering in her community and is Associated Student Body President of Indio High School. Crowned, as Princess Jasmine is Noelle Waits, 17, of Indio. Noelle was named to the Second Team in Division I, both in 2001 and 2002, for basketball. Hobbies include basketball, dancing and most sports.
The new Queen and her Court will reign as ambassadors for the Riverside County Fair & National Date Festival, February 14-23, 2003, presented by Fantasy Springs Casino. For more information about the fair, call 1-800-811-FAIR.
