The African Children’s Choir recently gave an amazing concert at Cross Word Christian Church in Riverside. Chief Pastor Lacy K. Sykes, Jr. and First Lady Karen Sykes were delighted to bring the choir once again to Cross Word for the community.
These young people openly and joyfully shared the love of our Lord, Jesus Christ with the world.
“Their charming smiles, beautiful voices and lively African songs and dances melted our hearts and filled us with joy,” stated Chief Pastor Sykes, Jr.
The concert featured well-loved children’s songs, traditional spirituals and contemporary tunes. “In spite of the tragedy that has marred their young lives, the children were radiant with hope, musically gifted and were wonderfully entertaining,” he continued.
