The San Bernardino Black Culture Foundation is hosting its  18th Annual Black Rose Awards on Friday, September 28, 2007, at the  National Orange Show, Valencia Room.  This event begins at 6 p.m. with a social hour and the dinner/program  begins at 7 p.m.

The Black Culture Foundation invites the public to join them as they celebrate the volunteer efforts of the following unsung heroes:

Honorary Black Rose Awardee
Humanitarian Award, Mary McKinney; Community Service Award, Reginald Beamon; Black Rose Awardees: Kim Carter, Brenda Dowdy, Carl Jones, Dixie Jourdan, Lola Lee, Project Action; and the Honorary Black Rose Award, Dr. Al Karnig.

The tickets are $50 per person for this event and additional information can  be obtained by calling Margaret Hill at (909)  864-3267.
