NEW YORK – April 3, 2007 – Bravo conducted a media conference call with comedienne Whoopi Goldberg to discuss her new Bravo comedic special "The Word According to Whoopi" premiering this Thursday, April 5 at 10:00 PM ET/PT.
The Q & A with Whoopi prompted some funny remarks.
Q: In response to the Michael Richards use of the “N” Word.
A: I would not suggest that white people use it.
Q: What is your favorite reality show?
A: I don’t watch TV;
my life is a reality show.
Q: Comments about Hollywood
now and then?
A: Hollywood will always be young, with or without
underwear.
Whoopi Goldberg takes the stage for her all-new, laugh-out-loud Bravo stand-up special "The Word According to Whoopi.” With her signature candor, Whoopi plans to make the controversial funny, sharing her quirky observations that are surprisingly relatable, endearing and unexpectedly thought provoking.
In this comedic one-hour, Whoopi touches on topical issues while keeping the audience in stitches, sharing her views on everything from racism to kids' manners today; and reminiscing about the good ole' days of free love and wild parties, only to contrast it with how things have changed, now that she often finds herself "the oldest person in the room” with gray hairs in unexpected places.
