BENJAMIN BANNEKER: (1731-1806) Benjamin Banneker was the
most famous Black American of the Revolutionary Period of American history. A
scholar and scientist, he was always seeking answers, or ways of predicting
answers to questions. Born a free man, he had the right to vote. He was known
and respected here and in Europe, yet by 1803 this right to vote was taken away
from him and all free Black Americans, in his native state of Maryland.
 Juanita Barnes HELLO
MORENO VALLEY
WEDNESDAY was "Valentine's Day." I pray it was the
best one yet, but we should show love to one another everyday. This is set
aside to show a very special person a great day just from you. Dr. Maya Angelou
said you belong to me and I belong to you, and if we look it we are an awesome
force.
MORENO VALLEY the LIBRARY is MOVING again: The City has
closed the temporary storefront library
in the Moreno
Valley Plaza
on Sunnymead Boulevard.
According to Director Cynthia Pirtle that will take approximately thirty-three
days. Patrons can still drop books at the storefront until February
twenty-eight 2007, the City Officials have again retain the county bookmobile
to still give services. Debbie Mackenzie said a library is very important to
the community, she also stated that a
library is as important as the police department. THE MAIN LIBRARY at 25480 ALESSANDRO BOULEVARD
is expected to reopen APRIL second 2007 for information: (951) 413-3880.
