April is National Child Abuse Prevention & Awareness Month. Rose Parker, Author of Beat Up, Beat Down and STILL STANDING, who received an 11th hour Gubernatorial pardon from former Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger says, “The only fight I want in on is the FIGHT AGAINST ABUSE”. Saving Our Women Outreach Int’l, an organization saving families will add to their strategy a “dance workshop, training and skits”. Saving Our Women will host their Annual Spring Forth Revival Theme: Taking It Back – Pressing Into Destiny. The goal is to take back our communities and children and press. Celebrity dancer, teacher and world renowned advocated against violence, James “Skeeter Rabbit” Higgins, who travels throughout the Country, mainly to Japan, will provide dance and information to help children steer away from negative habits, teaching them and giving alternatives on Friday, at 6:00 p.m. Dr. Rose says.” Children & teens are being bullied, terrorized and abused at school, home and often in their communities, even killed. WE have to help; they’re are kids.
Also, joining Dr. Rose is Kismet Evans, I.E. Veterans Stand Down & Youth-at-Risk; Apostle Cecilia Cedeno, Pastor Janie Harris, Men & Women on the Move; Dr. Michael Sterling, Former LA Deputy Rick Wright; Chaplain Rickey Gregory, Mosses the Prophet and other community and church leaders. The church will use their voice to speak life and direction into these children and their families and much more.
Dr Rose Parker-Sterling, a woman of great faith, who never gave up on her belief that God promised her a pardon, believes that a difference can be made if we give our children more alternatives, listen and be concerned about what concerns them.
