The Chino Youth Museum announced their “Chino Youth Museum DairyAire 5k Run,” which will be held on Saturday March 5, 2011, located at Ayala Park,14225 Central Ave., Chino at 8:00 a.m. This will be a well attended fundraising event that will attract runners and children throughout the Chino Valley.

The Chino YouthMuseum is promoting awareness for healthy and active children. They are seeking sponsorships for this event, which will provide businesses with an opportunity to get their name out to every 5k participant while demonstrating support for the Chino Youth Museum, an important part of the community and history.

The Chino Youth Museum has come a long way since the early 1990’s when the dream of establishing a youth museum to introduce the children of the Chino Valley to local history began to take shape. The Chino Youth Museum is an attractive destination in Aguiar Civic Square. We are very proud of our interactive displays featuring themes from our local history.

Over 10,000 kids visited the Chino Youth Museum last year.

The museum offers free events such as our totally free “First Friday” activity each month along with school tours and birthday parties.

"I encourage you to consider becoming a sponsor for our DAIRY AIRE 5K RUN," states Board of Director Manuel J. Carrillo. He continues: "We are also accepting donations of raffle prizes and would be happy to announce your name as we give away your donated prize! Major sponsors who are able to make a commitment by Febuary1st will be featured at our event signage and T-Shirts that will be given to every participant."
