SAN BERNARDINO – Applications are now being accepted for Cal State San Bernardino’s M.B.A. for Executives degree program.
The 18-month accelerated program for executives, entrepreneurs and managers from all industries is offered by CSUSB’s College of Business and Public Administration in partnership with the university’s College of Extended Learning.
Informational sessions will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22, at the Ontario Chamber of Commerce and Tuesday, Nov. 27, at the Corona Public Library .
The M.B.A. for Executives program is accredited by the highly selective Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), an honor that’s given to the world’s best business schools. This international accreditation and recognition sets the Cal State San Bernardino M.B.A. for Executives program apart from other Inland Empire executive M.B.A. programs, both in terms of its academic excellence and its outstanding value.
The CSUSB College of Business and Public Administration was recently named among the top 18 most innovative business schools in the world by European CEO Magazine, and one of only four in the United States. In addition, it was again named one of the nation’s top business schools by The Princeton Review in the 2013 edition of its annual guidebook, “The Best 296 Business Schools.”
“If you have a bachelor’s degree and at least five years of management experience, this program can help you take your career to the next level of success,” said Deirdre R. Caruthers director of CSUSB’s College of Extended Learning’s extension programs. “Cal State San Bernardino’s nationally acclaimed business faculty offer hands-on instruction and a real-world learning experience to help students become better strategic thinkers, leaders, team builders, motivators and mentors.”
Courses are five weeks each and are delivered in sequence. Because courses are taken in a cohort format, students will be able to study the challenging material and learn with classmates. This group format also allows opportunities to build professional networks and encourages personal friendships.
All classes in the M.B.A. for Executives program will be held at a freeway-convenient Ontario location. Classes are held on Wednesday evenings and alternate Saturdays. The 48-unit program includes 12 core graduate business courses.
The program also provides 12 units of two prerequisite fundamentals of business, management and administration courses and a prerequisite writing for administration course for those students who need additional preparation to succeed. Prerequisite courses may be waived with documentation of having satisfied the appropriate learning objectives. The curriculum of prerequisite and core graduate business courses is delivered in 18 months start to finish.
“Cal State San Bernardino’s prestigious M.B.A. for Executives can prepare you for greater career success and open the door to exciting new opportunities,” Caruthers said.
