SAN BERNARDINO -- Take a patriotic musical journey across the U.S.A. with “Celebrate America,” the new stage show making its debut June 30 at the historic California Theatre of the Performing Arts in downtown San Bernardino.

Produced by WorldWide Theatricals and directed by award-winning director James Griffin, the show honors the American spirit with some of the most patriotic songs, and speeches in U.S. history, including “American Soldier” “Where the Stars and Stripes and the Eagles Fly” and “God Bless the USA.”
Other songs include “Armed Forces Medley,” as well as many traditional songs like “The Star Spangled Banner,” “My Country ‘Tis of Thee,” “You’re a Grand Old Flag” and many more. Just in time to launch the most patriotic American holiday, the Fourth of July, relive the greatest songs, stories, speeches and the people that have made this country great, a generation like no other.
The original stage show is filled with nostalgia, pride, laughter, tears and inspiration, all celebrating the red, white and blue spirit that is sure to make every American proud. WorldWide Theatricals has also announced its 2012-2013 season of shows, featuring the critically acclaimed “Hats!” The Musical, Oct. 6; the family favorite “Hollywood Christmas Spectacular,” Dec. 22; the Tony-Award-winning play “Art,” which raises questions about art and friendship; and “Ray,” the play featuring the music of the legendary Ray Charles, May 25, 2013. Season tickets to the four WorldWide Theatrical 2012-2013 shows are $104-$189. Individual tickets, $39.50-$76, will not be available until August.
The California Theatre, which has operated continuously since 1928 when it opened as a movie palace and vaudeville house, is at 562 W. Fourth St., between E and F streets.
