REDLANDS - The Unforgettables Foundation is pleased to announce the first annual Unforgettable Heart Awards. The Unforgettables Foundation believes that caring people in our Inland SoCal community account for many unrecognized and unforgettable acts of kindness each day. We want to say thank you!

The Unforgettables is a local charity which assists struggling families during their most challenging time, the loss of a child, with burial expenses for their child’s funeral. They want to celebrate daily good deeds and just say thank you to some of the regions “biggest-hearted” people, who help the lives of challenged families and their children. We address the question, “What can I do to help?” everyday!

Assemblyman Mike Morrell will join with The Unforgettables Foundation in honoring these community heroes. Awards will be given not only to exemplary individuals, but also to exceptional families, groups and foundations, and key charity and service groups/clubs from our community.

Assemblyman Morrell (a former board member of The Unforgettables) will hand out certificates of recognition and address the luncheon audience on the importance of giving from the heart in the great American tradition and on the vital place of the non-profit sector in our country and Inland Empire community.

The Unforgettables founder Chaplain Tim Evans points out, “Mike has given great thought and study into the role of America’s historic philanthropic heart, so he can powerfully speak as well as model what it means to thank people who make a profound difference for good within and for the non-profit world”. Valentine’s Day is perfect!

Awards will be given in four categories, Funders/Foundations; Families; individuals and Local Service Groups. A full list of honorees and event location will be announced soon.
