A celebration to honor the legacy and contributions of women who have served in America’s armed forces will be held on Friday, March 18, 2011 beginning at 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 658 E. Brier Drive, Ste. 100 Laguna Rm., in San Bernardino. The Employment Development Department (EDD) and State Senator Gloria Negrete McLeod have taken proactive steps to proudly host and announce this celebration during Women’s Military History Week.

The event celebrates and honors these brave women who have risked their lives for this country. We are thankful for their efforts in promoting freedom, peace and democracy around the world.
