Middle School Students, Parents Can Make College Happen At CSUSB

Families who want their children to start thinking about college early can find answers and support when Cal State San Bernardino hosts its annual introduction to the university event, “College: Making It Happen,” on Thursday, March 10.

“College: Making It Happen” provides speakers and information to educate, motivate and inspire students to go to college after they finish high school. Middle school students, parents, teachers and counselors are encouraged to attend as well.

Representatives from the California State University system, University of California, private universities and community colleges will give information about the college admission process, financial aid and other important information. The event will be held in English and in Spanish.

A state-funded program, “College: Making it Happen” will be held in the university’s Lower Commons from 6 to 8 p.m. Complimentary parking will be offered in Lot D. To make reservations, call (909) 537-5192.
