Democracy for America, (DFA) one of the nation’s largest grassroots Democratic PAC’s, selected Citizens of the Inland Empire from hundreds of applicants nationwide to host a Campaign Academy on July 10th & 11th in San Bernardino.

Corey Jackson said, “Here in the Inland Empire we know that we have serious problems and we are getting serious about fixing them. That’s why we applied to host a Campaign Academy so that our local activists can learn the skills we need to win elections and pass legislation on the issues we care about.”

More than 40 people have already signed up to attend the training and registrations are rolling in daily. The training will include many sessions including Field Organizing, Campaign Management, Fundraising, and Communications. Sessions will be taught by national experts and DFA Staff.

“The DFA Campaign Academy mission is to focus, network, and train grassroots activists in the skills and strategies to take back our country, manage successful campaigns or run for office themselves,” Matt Blizek, DFA’s National Field Director explains. “With our weekend trainings, we’re building a grassroots infrastructure of skilled progressive activists in all 50 states.”
