Gram's BBQ Celebrates 23 as Owner Celebrates 67 Years

On Friday, July 16, 2010, the City of Riverside will help celebrate the 67th birthday of business owner Robert Bratton, as well as a weekend celebration for the 23 years Grams BBQ Palace has been in business in Downtown Riverside. The big party begins at 3 pm and will continue until 10 pm with a huge party.

The festivities will continue on Saturday, beginning at 3pm-10pm with a car show, DJ, music, and dancers ready to entertain everyone in the community. Sunday includes a Gospel celebration.

Grams BBQ Palace has been a successful business for the past twenty-three years where the goal is to keep the business in the community.

Bratton does catering for parties and big events ranging for 2500 or more and also has two catering trucks that allows him to conduct mobile catering.

Bratton has done an excellent job with turning his business into a family oriented business. His employees have been working with him for the past eighteen years with the longest employee employed for twenty years. Demonstrating their dedication to the community. He has also been able to have consistent customers come by and has been dedicated to the business ever since it started.

The future of Gram’s BBQ Palace will be in good hands since Bratton has plans of turning the business over to his daughters and continuing to keep the business in the community.

At present, Bratton has retired but is constantly helping his daughter and employees whenever it is necessary. Bratton states “the community has been good to me.”
