Tina Robinson, a Riverside native, senior vice president and regional manager at Union Bank, N.A., has been named one of the most “25 Influential Black Women in Business” by The Network Journal (TNJ) magazine.
Robinson was chosen for her contributions to the banking industry, excellence in leadership and service to the African American community.
The prestigious award is presented to a select group of women whose outstanding achievements demonstrate their commitment to excellence and the development of future generations.
2010 honorees were recently celebrated during the 12th anniversary awards luncheon held at the New York Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City March 11, 2010.
The event was attended by prominent corporate executives, small business and community leaders from across the country.
The theme of the program, “Women Going the Distance,” symbolized the advancements made by great women in the past, linking them to the amazing accomplishments of today’s women business leaders.
As one of the highest-ranking African American women at Union Bank, Robinson has also served as a mentor to many who have worked under her leadership.
“I humbly accept this award,” says Robinson. “I express my appreciation for the opportunities that have been given to me by sharing my knowledge and preparing others.”
Robinson is also one of the featured honorees in the March issue of TNJ.
