Walter Richie Jr. was an exceptionally good kid. He loved the Lord, his Family, the game of basketball, and was a model student.

Unexpectedly, Walter experienced a stroke last Tuesday, which led to five hours of surgery.

Walter survived the surgery; however, there were other complications and Walter passed on Wednesday, Mar. 3, 2010. Walter had just turned 14 years old in January.

Walter’s family needs our financial assistance. Please find it in your heart to be part of a list of Basketball Clubs, Vista Verde Middle School, and other individuals to donate whatever you can afford to help with the funeral cost of $9,500.00. The family needs to raise these funds as soon as possible.

Donations can be mailed to: West Coast Warriors, P.O. Box 9165, Moreno Valley, California 92552 or deliver your donation to our practice site at March Middle School located at 15800 Indian St., Moreno Valley, California 92551 on Tuesday, Mar. 9, 2010.

Please make your check or money order payable to the West Coast Warriors.

The Richie family thanks the community in advance for your support.
